Is there any way of cutting some of the credits off at the end of a movie to make it fit on a dvd-r cd??. I don't want to re-encode the movie. For instance, I'm trying to burn the movie SIGNS but it's just 19MB over after I have taken out the extra audios and subtitles. Any ideas?????

use vobsplit if the files are already vobs and cut ur end credits...then use ifoedit to create ur new ifos, close ifoedit then reopen and use the get vts to correct pointers...done

I used this guide so I could keep the credits on a movie but at a lower bitrate:

vobsplit was intended to use so you don't have to create new ifo files.

I have stripped the credits on most of my films and I have ever once created new ifo files after doing so.
