Hi All,
How long does transcode take compared to say REMPEG?
I am doing Lord of The Rings and calculated it to take 24 Hours on a 900Mhz Athlon. Does this sound correct?
Here is my script: Can anyone comment on my settings? Is the script correct? I'd rather not wait 24 Hours to find out I am wrong.
Thanks
The Audio was already de-muxed.
transcode -i Lord.m2v -o LordEnc.m2v -y mpeg -F d,,dvd_rate.txt --pulldown -q2
Where dvd_rate has the line:
max_bitrate=2985000
Does this seem correct?
Also, is there a script out there that can sample the original .m2v file and give a bitrate so it will fit on 1 DVD Disc.
Thanks
