Been having big problems with these episodes for a few days. I've read many threads about how to get the best picture from Futurama because of the frame issues. I have little knowledge on Avisynth, as this seemed to be the best way forward. I'm a big fan of TMPGenc so have looked for a solution down this route. Seems like I found it.
After going thru the usual process of DVD2AVI and VFAPI, I load the .avi into TMPGenc and goto Settings and choose these options:
Video
Encode Mode - Interlace
Motion Search Precision - High Quality
Advanced
Field Order - Top field first Field A
De-interlace - Double-click this option and choose 'odd field', click enable filter.
Make sure the ratio are PAL 4.3 625 Line
Results are perfect for Maestro.

PS - Apologies if this is posted somewhere already, just trying to give back :)
