When I open an XVID avi with directshowsource, there is some sort of chroma flickering. It doesn't happen with avisource. Using the XVID directshow decoding filter instead of ffdshow doesn't have any effect either. Converting to YUY2 or RGB doesn't help.
This seems to happen only with XVID compressed avis. The flickering happens always, compression settings or resolution don't seem to matter. The avis work perfectly when opening them with Media Player Classic, for example.
I'm using Avisynth 2.5 (7. nov 2002) on WinXP.
