Hello,
I was wondering if anyone had any advise on helping me fix a movie. I ran it through Virtualdub and here is the file I am working with...
Video Stream
Frame Size: 640x272, 23.976 fps (41708 us)
# of frames: 126417 (1:27:52)
Decompressor: Xvid MPEG-4 Codec
Number of key frames: 1509
Audio Stream
Sampling rate: 48000Hz
Channels: 2(stereo)
Precision: 0-bit
Compression: MPEG Layer-3 Codec
preload skew: 384 samples (0.01s)
#of frames: 219691
I 'scan video stream for errors' and this is the status Virtualdub gives me....
47492 frames masked (588 frames bad, 46904 frames good but undecodable)
When I save .avi after scanning for errors, the file size drops from 700 MB to around 400 MB. Any processing other than direct stream I try to do on the video ends up returning an error ' Integer divided by 0' and then crashes Vdub.
I was wondering:
1. if their is way to list each bad frame and then manually delete them ?
2. what masked frames are and what do you do with them ?
3. how do you fix good frames but undecodable ?
4. any program or way of automatically doing this ?
thanks
