CQ factor determination

Hello,

In order to avoid the CQ prediction operation, I would like to know how this factor is calculated, and what is the best way to set it, i.e. big value is better, or low value is better ?

PS : I do not find any threads on this subjects in the forum, and no help file too. Is there any help file for TMPGenc anywhere ?

Try searching: http://www.tmpgenc.net. Click bbs. I don't use the Constant Quality settings, I only use 2-pass VBR.
