CCE has proven to create excellent MPEG2 video files but I haven't read much on the audio side. Can anyone comment on it's ability to create MPEG-1 layer 2 audio from uncompressed PCM audio in an avi file?
I'm specifically interested in v2.66 that will be running on a 1.2 GHz Athlon. I know earlier versions had audio problems with Athlons but they were supposedly fixed with the more current releases.

the majority of the people here deal with NTSC only, and the DVD spec doesnt like m2a audio on a NTSC disc. and besides ac3 is superior, and im guessing the cce m2a encoder is as good as tmpgenc ;)

Don't use the encoding mode "Mono" because it's bugged.
