when i load the ts.ifo file in ifoedit i click on the region free button and it doesn't work. when i click on the region free button it says "no RCE checking found in this IFO" what does that mean????

I think the .IFO generated by DVDDecrypter is already Region Free.

but the dvd that i am trying to rip is a region 2 dvd. so it can't be region free already.

what ooks is saying is when you decrypted it
dvddecrypter may have taken it out
also some movies dont have rce checking in the files

how do i make sure that it is region free? is there anyway to view the vob files?

create an image on the HD and mount it with daemon tools - load up dvddecrypter selecting your mounted image - and it shows you the region info
there might be a simpler way - but not known to me

If you ripped with 3.1.4.0 or newer, they are region free.
VOB files dont have region protection in them - its the IFO files that have that.
