Ive seen posts discussing how conversion to mp2 audio can create a high pitch noise artefact and the consensus seems to be that...it happens sometimes...deal with it.
Im getting the same annoying mp2 audio hiss but only upon multiplexing with my .mpg (playing mp2 alone sounds fine). Im only getting familiar with SVCDs but id like to think that theres some way of adding audio without changing it (never had a similar problem with AVIs).
My mpg is created in tmpgenc from an avi. Ive tried doing audio:
1) directly in tmpgenc from the avi source (audio = mono mp3 48khz)
2) convert wav to stereo --> resample (44.1khz) and convert to mp2 with besweet) --> multiplex with mpg in tmpgenc and bbmpg.
thanks for any input you may have
