OGMerger bug? File parsing lastes forever...

Hi Suiryc, first of all thank for your tools, I'm an happy user of OGMCutter and OGMDemuxer...

Yesterday I tried to use OGMerger to join two ogm files in one, but tool begins to parse the first input file very slowly...
It looks that it's getting slower and slower as it goes on...
At about 20% of the first file, I left...

Looking at the Task Manager, I saw huge number growing (2 million) on Memory Page Errors referred to OGMerger...
Hard disk is almost still...
There's still plenty (80MB) of available RAM...

In Ogm files there are:
1 video stream (~630 kb/s encoded by DivX5.02 B-frame on, PE on)
1 audio stream (~122 kb/s Ogg Vorbis -q 0.4)
1 subtitle stream (SubRip format)
title, author and chapter metadata

My sys specs:
notebook with Win XP HE, Athlon4 1 Ghz, 256 MB RAM,...

BTW, opening them with VirtualDubMod is goin' well: it parses ogm files quite fast...

Hi

Did you get the latest version of the tool?
The problem you describe looks like the one I fixed (or so I think) in the latest version. The problem was a misunderstanding in the way the library worked (I wanted to speed up a little the process of parsing by skipping some data extraction, but it appeared to be a problem for the library and finally resulted in making the process lasting forever and generally taking more and more memory and making the program crash - Page Fault - ...).

Ya, you're right, latest version solved it :) !
Sorry, my fault :o, I really thought to have the latest version, but I was using 0.9a2 instead of 0.9a4.

Anyway, I redid it, calling ogmerger -o outfile infile1 infile2.
Everything went right, but subtitles in the second part of outfile (those from infile2) were not displayed :confused:
With infile2 subtitles played fine...
So I demuxed all streams from outfile. Watching closer at outfile_2.srt, I found that there were subtitles from infile2, but with wrong timestamp!
Timestamps were 2min earlier than what they should be, being the first subtitle 10sec after the beginning of infile2, instead of 2min 10sec...
Well, nema problema ;), to cut a long story short, I corrected outfile_2.srt with subrip and remuxed all together. Wow, I did it, at last :cool:
