There is probably some way to load TMPG files in AVISynth to look at in Dub, but I havn't noticed it.
When I drop a TMPG>VFAPI'd file into VirtualDub (latest, nandub, or any other version). If I try and move the lower slider, it crashes and leaves Dub.
The only way I can counteract this problem is by doing a resize filter, clicking show preview and then cancelling. Then I can move the slider as freely as I like. This happens with and file/codec type exported out of TMPG regardless of audio content.
This has probably been addressed elsewhere, or is my hardware knackered?!
I get no crash log, just a closure of dub.
