Well my problem is as so. I use three different type of DVD-r media, RItek, Leda and Verbatim. When i got my Pioneer A04 [about 5 months ago] i started off by using Ritek DVD-rs and i burned lots data and movie backups. Well today i went to get some data off one of my Ritek dvd-rs and the Pioneer A04 couldnt read the DVD-r, so i tryed all of my Ritek backups and they all do the same thing, but a month ago they worked fine. Then i put in a Leda DVD-r and Verbatim DVD-r and they read fine. Well the solutions i tryed where to downgrade my firmware from 1.40 to 1.32, 1.31, 1.20 and that still didnt help, so i updated my ASPI to 4.71[lastest], it didnt do the trick, so then i uninstalled all my CDR\DVD-r writing software and then install recordnow 4.5 and it was still doing the same thing, so then i installed the lastest Nero and Discjuggler, and still it wont read them..... So im thinking theres something wrong with my laser. Anyone else have a suggestion on how i could fix this problem?
