I dunno about others, but I had no problems with dvd2svcd. This progy is great. All my problems are fixed with a nice reboot, period. :D If that doesn't work, troubleshoot individual parts. Still doesn't work, I go to this board and use the SEARCH fuction. Then if nothing works, I post. C'mom, it's a simple concept. Please don't come here and tell us it's dvd2svcd bug/problem.

My 2 cents

Siliconsoul, you are right. :-(
There are many needless questions last time in here.
Some times ago I tried to help people with problems, but last time almost all questions could be answered easily by reading the FAQs but some (and every time some more) people are too lazy to read, they cry for help before starting to think or read.
I'm tired reading every day the old questions again. But I can't find the important threads because of all the senseless ones. So I read this forum not that often as i did some time ago. What a pitty, there were many good discussions here.

Judging by the number of basic posts still being posted under advanced topics, I would tend to agree with everything said so far

todays post's tend to echo what has been reported & sorted many times in the last 12 - 18 mths

@ DVD2SVCD.
your program still rocks.
even when encoding for DVD :D

just like my signature says....

ppl are too lazy to read
ppl are too lazy to even trie
ppl are too lazy to even think on possible solutions of there problem

and even worst they expect us to guess what is their problem !!

dvd2svcd is the the kind of software that " teatches " users on the way of making things , just have a look to the log !

threre are some ppl that dont deserv the amount of work involved in the developmant of sutch a tool ! they dont " bother " to use the search function they just type the problem and expect for the
answer ! if you read 10 new treads 9 of them where already ansewerd several times befoure,!

i think an ignore function for this kind of threads is needed ;)

Yes the dreaded one hit wonders. The most annoying of these are the ones that ask a commonly answered question, get told to do a search and never return again. What a waste of forum space and bandwidth.

The ones with legit questions, I don't mind as much. Not everyone has the time or the ability to help.

@SiliconSoul Sorry gotta edit your title. I have to be fair. If I yell at the newbies for too many special characters, I have to yell at even a respected older member. You know even handed and all.

i am too lazy to read this thread
cos if you have problems ,
it isn't the prog.

i only read the top and vote,
cos i can't believe that dvd2svcd
can't work for someone.

everything could be wrong:
your pc,your configuration or you.
the program works.
of course, you can have other problems,
the program works.
don't need to say that you have:
tutorials,moderator,seniors
and inventors
and scripts
and help
and scripts
and lots of "and"
with a super bonus:
dvd2svcd free!
dvd2svcd is fantastic!

ps:
i do:
svcds and kvcds only changing some adjusts.
no more to say.
works!:D
