Hi all,
I just wanted to let all of you know of a nice deal. The apple online (http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore/) store is selling their 5 packs of DVD-r which are certified to work with the Pioneer A04 superdrive in Imacs. I am pretty sure these are poineer DVD-r's. They are selling 5 pack for 14.95 and free ground shipping. Just a little fyi.

Looks like those are x1 only.
So $3 for x1 DVD-R is still pricy.
You can find Verbatim or TDK x2 arround $3.

Yes they are 1x, but I am looking at the quality as much as the speed. The Pioneer 1x are normally selling for around 5-6$ each. That is why I thought it was a nice deal. Since these are also made by Pioneer.

I bought 3 of those five-packs some time ago (they were Pioneers) and there was no problem recording them at 2x with my A03...

I just received my shipment last night. They are actually Maxell
2x DVD-r. Just a little fyi. Still not a bad price for 2x at $3 each.
