hi all,
i capture avi from VHS tape and convert them to divx5 ( & mp3 for audio) video file using Virtual Dub. but i always have audio and video sync problem.
I capture audio at 48Khz 16bit stereo, and my encode setting is 48KHz 128kbs CBR mp3 (lame 3.9.1).
When i encode 1 avi file, it sounds fine and auio and picture sync right. But when I join multiple avi files into 1 avi, audio doesn't sync I've tested some other ways that i can think of to solve this problem (encoding at 44.1KHz, using Fraunhofer IIS MPEG Layer-3 Codec...) but so far i havent found the solution.
I was just wondering what everyone is using for their audio encode setting?? or Should I just not use mp3??? (Yesterday I installed Ogg Vorbis audio codec because i hear it is pretty popular.)
please give me ANY advice if you have. (I searched the logs of this forum too but sorry if this is frequently asked questions )
