Hi
ive been using the movie only doom 9 guide for making dvd-r rips and was wondering, when choosing the audio i always choose ac3 6 ch,but what i want to know is can i choose dts instead, i understand that the movie bitrate will have to be lowered as dts is alot bigger file than ac3,most of the dvd,s i buy i look out for dts soundtracks,so is the process the same if i choose dts and does it work ok?

If you use an author tool which support DTS streams it's OK.
Another problem is a DTS track is about 1.5 Gb, which let a lot less room for video.

Yeah, haven't you noticed that when you rip a dvd that has DTS, that the video track always ends up being around 3-3.5gb? Stream ripping is the best!
