6 PGCs with Original Menus

First off, please excuse me if I do not have all of the lingo down correctly. I am still learning this stuff

Ok, I have reencoded 6 episodes of Friends and I would like to reinput them into the oringal menus

All 6 episodes are from the same .ifo set (VTS_01) and are just simply 6 PGCs within that .ifo set.

I know that in IfoEdit you can reencode and reinput 1 PGC, but how do I go about doing all 6?

I would like to reinput all 6 episodes (into the respective PGCs) and then fix whatever pointers I need to.

That way I can keep all of the original menus

Best way to do it is to use the great guide eye's only did about multiple pgc's. You can find it here: http://doitfast4u.doom9.org/ this is his page. DIF4U is a great tool to this with. It will automatically split each pgc's for you. If you already encoded each friends episode, then use the guide to finish it. You can also use dvdmaestro to do this using this guide from jdobbs: http://forum.doom9.org/attachment.php?s=&postid=196751

I have done M.A.S.H. season 1 and 2 using both guides. Using dvdmaestro is more work but works out the same.

Anyway, have a go at either one and you shouldn't have any problems.

And this will allow me to just insert them back into the files and keep the original menus?

Yes, if you follow either guide, it will work out exactly as the original. Make sure you use ifoupdate as the guide says. This will correct the orginal .ifo with your authored .ifo information.

Unfortunately I do not have Scenarist and there is no way that I can afford to buy it.

Thanks anyways, I will keep this guide in mind in case I can ever get the program

Is there a way to do it with IfoEdit? I am surprised that IfoEdit allows you to import 1 PGC but not multiples

Sorry Trilight. I got the link from Eyes' Only signature. Just figured it was his guide.
