I just got a DVD burner and now that I will have all these discs I will need a place to put them(no comment from the peanut gallery please).
I am looking for the standard DVD case and not CD jewel cases.
Where is the best/cheapest place to get these in the States?
I don't mind buying as many as 50 at a time.

Thanks,
Mark

$15.50/50. the link takes you directly to single black dvd cases.. if you go to the homepage and search for "dvd case" you will find what you need. i have ordered from this company 2 times and never had a problem.. they have really good prices on media too!

I got a hundred from this site for $29.99, plus free shipping.

They work great using matte style paper, and photoshop to edit/design your covers.

I have received several black DVD cases free in the mail from AOL. Very thoughtful of them. Seem to be the same cases that Blockbuster uses, so someone somewhere is making a lot of them cheaply.

HEHE...I thought I was the only one that did that. I go to some neighbors houses and get them. Most of the time when I get an AOL disk in those cases pretty much for sure everyone else did too!! :D

You All crack me up...
Just earlier today (right before reading this), I went to the Great "WALMART" here in my area,...and took about 8 cases from the little AOL stand!!!...THey are pretty good, but getting that sticker off the front is truly a great task...which is pretty good also....since it gives me something to do while Im waiting on my (.img ) file to burn

Another note: We have a "Dollar tree" here and I get 3 cases for a dollar._______ 33 cents isnt bad, considering you get them right away..sure you save 4 cents each if you order online, but thats only $4.00 if you order a hundred.----WHAT A SAVING---

anyway, theres my thought,
HAPPY RIPPING.

I looked at all the websites listed here, but in the end I bought from www.mediasupply.com because when you included shipping they were the cheapest for 50.
They cost $15.00 and $5.31 for Fedex Saver, which is 3 day service, for 50. They are the standard black with the clear plastic for an insert on the outside.

I have been using the occasional AOL disc case as well. To get rid of the sticker soak the case in warm water for a few hours. Sometimes a little soap helps too.

You might try using a hairdryer on them too. A LOT of glued-on labels come off very easily with application of a little heat.

WD-40 also works well for removing stickers -- spray it on and let it sit for awhile before removing. Also I prefer using those CD-wallet cases (Fellowes, Case Logic), mostly because they take up less space.

http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=USPlastic&category%5Fname=CD%2FDVD+Cases&product%5Fid=Econpak+DVD+Cases

Buy 100+ and you get bulk discounts. Shipping is around $7 / 50, $10 / 100.

$43.25 for 100
$23.xx for 50

Of course, the best deal I've come across is Rima.com (http://www.rima.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=R&Category_Code=DC), who offers 100 for $24 + $12 shipping = $36 for 100.

If anyone's interested in a German source, I can recommend Nierle:
