How do I extract the original menu from a DVD?

Descramble in file mode and check VTS_xx_0.vob which is the menu. You then require complicated reauthouring to get a usable ifo file however. Rip in iso mode in DVDDecrypter and then mount in Daemon tools for HDD playback or burn the image to a DVD is far far easier.
