Split Seconds Jumps ?

i have burned a few films yet some of them skip or stop for a split second . i am using nero 5.5.10 pioneer 105 is this a media issue or burning

Skipping or stopping can be a media issue, like a CRC error. What brand of media are you using? What speed are you burning them at?

There have been complaints about certain versions of Nero, but what you describe sounds more like media than burning software problem. One test would be to use DVDDecypter on a disc less than 4.3gb, make an ISO file of it, burn the iso file (with DVDDecypter) and play it. If it skips and stops, you've elimated Nero as a possible suspect.

either that, or if you re-encoded the movie, you may has stuffed the feild order up. But it does sound more like a media issue, than an encoding or burning problem.

I am using dvd decrypter the films then put them through ifo edit and then burn files . burning at 1 speed but not sure on media as wife bought them so could be cheap shit as i burned scorpion king twice and the skips are in different places

Get ahold of ADVDinfo and check out the manufacturer information of the discs. It could give you some idea of what the problem is. Also, what speed are you attempting to burn them at? That, together with the manufacturing info, could point to the problem.
