I've ripped a subtitle for for translation in SSA format with SubRip. Problem is that it has overlapping dialogues. I've analyzed this and the overlap time between dialogues are normally just 0.01 - 0.02 seconds, but it's still overlapped.

This means that DVobSub will show them above and below each other resulting in text jumping all over the screen.

Is there an application that can fix this without messing with the dialogues themselves (reordering/moving words etc).

I tried "SuDiX", which did just this, but that application messed up the SSA file instead...

I've got another little problem too... I set the colors in SubRip when I OCR'd them, but they still show as yellow with black outlines in DVobSub  I'd want them light-grey (almost white) with dark gray (almost black) outlines/shadows. Can anyone help me?

Subtitle Workshop (http://urusoft.cjb.net) can do that.

About the first, you can use Time Correction in SubRip.
About the second, it was SubRip bug, it's repaired now but not released ATM.
