Time code of m2v stream

I have ripped the DVD and demux audio and video streams. When m2v stream is imported into Scenarist and then placed within Track Editor as video track its "Start Time to video" starts from 00:59:58;00. I cannot change it manually as all changes are reverted into original values. Is there any way to change the time code of m2v stream without recoding it with CCE or anything else.

Why change it? It should match your audio track(s). This time code is normal for video with "pre-roll", 2 seconds of blank to allow the streams to sync. The movie itself should start at 1:00:00.00

Because then I have to recode the subtitles which start at 0:00.... something. Of course I can recode them but does the DVDR play correctly with such settings ??? I am authoring DVD under Scenarist so I am using elementary streams. Does it make any difference is the time code will be original?
