View Full Version : Problem with OGM in XCD

I think i got a problem. i encoded a movie, I muxed a vorbis stream, I cut it with oggcut 1 and then I burned it. now that I watch it, there are stuff like the ones you can see in the screenshot I've attached. They go like this throughout the second CD, but they get really nasty towards the end, which eventually causes the player to crash. I've taken this with ffdshow right before the player crashed. I've tried with the DivX5 decoder, same.

Any chance the movie is OK and the problem is with something else? Do you think i can fix this somehow? :(

first try extracting the file back from the XCD to your disk

try another cd-rom
this happens quite often on my lite-on 16x dvd drive.

@Emp3r0r: Believe it or not, I don't have enough diskspace atm.

@kxy: Yes, that fixed it. Curiously it happened with my DVD drive, when I played with my RW it was ok. Never happened before though.

mine happens from time to time also, perhaps dext should remove lite-on 16x dvd drive from the playable list.

Yes, and mine is Sony DDU 1621 DVD-ROM, but I had no problems till now.
