Anyone knows how can I create a karaoke DVD in Scenarist?

I don't use Scenarist as yet, but if you have it installed, the relevant details should be contained in the manual which is installed as standard.

Failing that, you can visit Sonic's support page, from where I found the following excerpt, relevant to your question:

img0003.bmp subpicture is applied the definition.
img0004.mgp subpicture is applied "Color ... and Contrast ..."

"-" in end time field means that the subpicture does not have STOP.
