I have coded some ac3 using surround 2 in besweet.
1) SUrround 2 is dolby pro logic 2?
2) Do i need some filters to hearing pro logic 2 features in a muxed avi?

Not really?
I hear sound in 4.1 and 5.1 from rear speaker?

if it's encoded for DPL2, you will need a DPL2 decoder. i know PowerDVD has this implemented, not sure about anything else. but for the audio to playback as it was encoded, you will need a DPL2 decoder. (although from reading a bit on it, it sounds like the surround2 feature doesn't always produce perfect results).

But does exist any decoder direct show of dolby pro logic 1 or 2?

Have you tried Valex's AC3filter? He now has a DPL II mode implemented.
Edit- Of course his filter also supports DPL mode.

Yes, but ac3 filter is not loaded when i see a video with audio in bsplayer.

Sounds like you need to unregister the Intervideo filters first then.

I have not tried using BSPlayer with Valex's filter to be honest. Are you sure your using the latest build of BSP from Doom9's home page, new version was in the news this week which fixed lots of bugs? I suggest trying a more flexible player such PowerDivX or Zoom Player. You should then see the filter being loaded and access the properties.

@gino25:
are you sure you really got an AC3 DPL2 track? no offence!
cause ac3filter only kicks in with ac3 tracks, not with mp3/vorbis dpl2 or whatever tracks.
let me raise another question, cause the thread title fits this best: is the surround 2 option in the current besweet release okay? cause there was some screwed-up matrix in earlier releases, I think.
when I encode mp3 (in stereo of course ... not joint stereo, for obvious reasons) even with high bitrates like 160kbits or more I still get strange sounds in my rear speakers and far from perfect channel separation using my external dpl2 decoder.
with vorbis the problems mentioned above are even more distinct. I think you need to encode at quality 6 at least with vorbis to get lossless channel coupling/separation ... well that's what I did, but still getting unsatisfactory dpl2 results.
anyone expert on this? thanks

I want just to clarify some things.
1. Dolby Surround/ProLogic/ProLogic2-encoded stream is a 2 channel (stereo) stream. It coded in that way for Dolby Decoder can extract surround and center shannels back from 2 channel stream. When you listen it without decoder you'll get just usual stereo.
2. Dolby modes in Speaker configurations are for _coding_ 5.1 channels to Dolby-compatible 2 channel streams.
3. My filter can simulate just simplest DolbySurround decoder upmix.
4. DPL/DPL2 decoders are very complicated and AFAIK exists only in commercial audio processing libraries (PowerDVD have one?). I have no enough information to implement it in any way. (Information at Dolby site is just general directions)
