crashes when try to add chapters

help!!! i sucessfully create a m2v file and ac3 file I can extract the chapters from the original dvd but when i try to author the dvd in IFO Edit 95 it goes weired. If i leave the chapters out it works fine but if i try to add them it crashes??????

Im using windows XP is there issues with this O/S
