Stripped Stream problem

If I use the "strip stream" or "Create new IFO" options under "VOB Extras" and burn it, I can play back the movie on my dvd burner, but not my sony standalone dvd player. Anyone else experience this? any workaround? If I use the "Split to 2 DVD-R" option, both disc1 and disc2 plays fine on both my burner and dvd player.

equipment used:
Tried both ifoEdit .95 and IfoEdit .91
Sony DRU-500A burner
Nero 5.5.10.0
Sony DVP-N655P dvd player

did you do " Get Vts Sectors " before burning??

Yes, I always do GET VTS Sectors before burning.

Hi,
you using the imag method or file method to create your dvd?
I have experienced problems also with my DVP-755 when using the directory method and nero. I now use images and Prassi to burn and everything is now fine.
