i have a problem with that disc... i ripped all files with DVDdecrypter, and then removed copyright screens with ifoedit.
i'm sure i did get VTS sectors, burnt the disc (actually i burnt 2) and they don't work on the standalone!!! there are also two things:

1- the dvd label is DVD_VIDEO but i changed it to DIVAS_LAS_VEGAS
2- the DVD also has a JACKET_P folder that i didn't copy...

i don't know about the second one, but changing the dvd label won't make the disc unreadable, and i should know because i've done that before...
the discs do work on the PC, though!!!
i haven't burnt a bad disc in more than 30 DVD's (only destroyed a couple of them in the beggining)

will try to burn a ripped "iso" to an RW....

I think perhaps this belongs in the IFOedit forum.
This isn't really a burning issue.

i think it could be...
i'm not worried about removing the copy's... i know how to do that...
i wanted to know if i needed to include the jacket_P folder on the disc. i wanted to know if it had anything to do with the way i recorded the Disc.
but you didn't even let me explain!!!!! you just moved my post!!!
nice job.

NOT!!!!

You might try explaining better in your first post what your question is. You didn't mention changing anything in the way you burn DVD's so I assumed you weren't having burning issues. It sounded to me like you just don't know how to use ifoedit with this movie since you said you had burned 30 DVD's without problems before. So obviously you got the "Burning" part down by now don't ya think? Either you have problems using IFoedit or authoring DVD's or something. Unless you just got real lucky with those 30 DVD's :)

You already answered the first question by changing the label on previous DVD's and not seeing a problems.

For what its worth, I always label my dvd's with the default which is "UNKNOWN" or something uninteresting like that, and they all work fine.

As for the jacket folder, I've never included the jacket folder before...

I think we'll leave the thread here for now. Jacket_p is not needed, removing it should not cause any problems. But make sure GET_VTS_SECTORS was done. You can check this by doing it again on the files you burned. If nothing happens, it was done right, but if IfoEdit says it's making changes, then that's the problem. And run it on all ifo files.

the funny thing is that i did "get vts sectors".
tell me, changing the play sequence, you know playing with the first play pgc... will that require another get vts in the end???
if so there's my error... if not... f*** it i did an iso and burnt it with no probs!!

but i wanted to remove the copy's
muahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!:( :( :( :(
