I'm looking for someone who could compile a w32 binary of lftp (http://lftp.yar.ru/). I use an old w32 binary of this software to keep my site updated but there's an issue with directory listings in reverse mirroring mode and I thought before I start bugging the developers better give the latest version a spin but judging from the devel mailing list cygwin compilation isn't exactly a piece of cake (and free time is a scare resource..) so maybe there's one of you who could give me a hand here. It would be much appreciated.

latest stable version compiled on latest cygwin release.

In fact it turns out not to be hard to compile one line change in a source file (remove ipv6 stuff) and update libtool with the one bundled with cygwin, but i havnt tested it to see how well it works.

if this build still doesnt fix the bugs then i can grab the latest unstable version from cvs and build that for you just drop us a message

Thanks. I haven't tested it yet (except for a small basic ftp test) and it works, though it takes a bit long to start and to quit. I'll tell you more once I've had time to properly test it out.

I can finally synch servers in encrypted form but it appears my lftp build somehow isn't quite up to the task.. it gets as far as connecting.. any chance you could make an up-to-date build (can't find it on the net though I only searched for about 5 minutes)?
