Will Ritek G04 burn at 2x on an A03??

Just curious if they'll burn at 2x or not...otherwise I won't bother getting them.

I was thinking that if they're certified to burn at a higher speed, they should be more reliable than the G03's. doesn't that make sense?

I was thinking that if they're certified to burn at a higher speed, they should be more reliable than the G03's. doesn't that make sense?Not necessarily, because certification is one thing, experiences you make after you bought some are something else, and the optimizations of the firmware for certain discs are again a different thing. Assuming that Pioneer has included optimization for these discs, they should burn reliably at 2x.

As the FAQ says, firmware 2.00 is required, otherwise they will only be recognised as 1x.
