Aren't .gi files the native format for Prassi? Do I need a different program?

I think what rubberman is try to ask is, how did the .gi file get onto your computer? What program did you use to generate the .gi file? SmartRipper, DVDDecypter, etc. For example, you can name the image file anything you want when you save it from DVDDecypter, but it's an ISO file in reality.

Have you got movies to work in the past using the GI method? Cause when i tried before i could never get it to work. I think basically you have to use DVD Decrypter or Smartripper to get the files to HD from DVD. PrimoDVD or Stomp wont work unless you burn the VIDEO_TS folder.

I had the same problem :( after upgrading my OS from Win2k to WinXP!!

Because the first images (*.gi ) were created on Win2k ( and splited in to several files ). But when I tried to load them using WinXP , no way :( .

BTW one more note , after that I had to create new images, and guess what? ( they weren't splited any more ). Do you see the patern ???

The problem is Primo assumed that now all images had to be on one file only , and because of some bug it doesn't recognise the old ones!

Fenix

Shoot, if anyone figures out how to burn these split .gi files in Windows XP please let me know! I have a few sitting on my hard drive waiting for some solution (as I search frantically).

Well, nevermind... it seems I needed to install the Px Engine Update:
