Hmmmmm.... I have several, simple, fully-dvd compliant audio and video stream pairs. How, pleeeeeeese tell me, may I author, (say), 5 of them in ifoedit? Oh - I can get one stream to work (an m2v plus an mpa <mpeg2 file plus it's counterpart 48kHz mp2 file>, but these video files can be *very* short, and it would be a waste to just have ifoedit convert them to vobs for burning, when they take up *so* little space on the disc.
I can only seem to add ONE video file (m2v or m1v), and ONE audio file (.mpa; actually an mp2), and that's IT! If I try to add another video (to help fill up the disc), ifoedit says (in words to effect), 'that feature is not implemented <available> yet."
Well, just wondering if Derrow/IfoEdit will ever allow me to use more than just one video file?
Thanks everyone.

you could always merge the files using vobedit...
or create a DVD from scratch... go to the guides area and search for authoring guides...

hi ,If I read this correct you are saying that you have a small collection of video and audio pairs of which you want all in the same disc , if you do you could try this , get ifoedit to convert them to vobs , put only the vob files it creates all in the same directory , rename them vts_01_1,vts_01_2 etc , then open up ifoedit and then select create ifos this should then create the video vts ifo files which you could then burn to disc , if this is not what you please ignore this , cheers:D

Destemido - thanks, but I don't think merging the files using vobedit is the answer for me, but I admit, I am such a deplorable nooby at this. :(
Mike4692 - Well, that *seems* to be indeed a workable solution! You see, as far as I can tell, ifoedit will only (currently) allow me to use one video and one audio stream before it creates burnable vobs out of them. Including 5 or 6 video (and audio) streams is not permitted (yet). As many of my vids are *way* shorter than a 4.3 gb dvd blank, it would be wasteful to the Max to author/burn just one of the files.
But your solution seems workable. I will author the video files individually, and then rename the subsequent vob sets to match each other, then include all of them in the VIDEO_TS folder, and then run the whole shebang through ifoedit again and see what happens.
(At the risk of talking too much, please let me describe why I want to do this)....
I have made a huge collection on normal, standard, white-book videocds. (VCDs). Yes, I know the quality of CBR mpeg1 is dodgy, but I got to thinking, I would like to author a *bunch* of them to a single dvd, right? As is, a vcd-compliant 352x240 ntsc mpeg1 file is also backwards compatible with dvd standards, and converting the 44.1 kHz .mp2 audio to 48kHz is a snap *anyway*, so.....
(Let's just say, I could free up a LOT of shelf space by putting something like 10 or 12 vcds on a single dvd, and it would *sure* be nice not to have to swap vcds so often.) No more disc breaks!
Thank you, guys. :)
