I have some video file that i want to recompress to other format using different settings with virtual Dub.When i am trying to do it, Processes stops at 80% and Dub says: "Unknown error ,unable to decode frame XXXX error code -100". When i go to Video-> Check video stream for errors, After checking finished i have "350 frames mask, 3 frames unreadable, 4 frames are undecodable. I tryed to use DivFix or AntiFreeze - Without any effect, Divfix does not find any errors.
Can anyone tell me how can i find these frame and cut them , or any tool that does it? (sorry if wrong forum) Thanks For any replies.

You seem to know your way around VDub so I'll make it short. You said 80%. Try marking ~75%-85% (or more precise if you wish). Encode this and watch what frames are working. If you do this several times you should be able to find the bad frames and cut them out.

Or does anyone know of a better/easier way?

Please don't cross post.

Open the .avi in Avsynth and recompress in VDub from there.
Use the directshow option.
example:
DirectShowSource("c:\my_movie.avi") Use the full path, of course:)

Each frame will be treated as a keyframe in VDub.
Should work fine. No need to delete frames!!!
Hope this helps, again ;)
