From what i've read so far, 1-pass @ 100% is the best for the best quality, but what about B-Frames?

Also, can anyone point me to a place that has .avs settings so i can setup gnot for 100% 1 pass?

Thanks.

I don't think the AVS has the settings for 100% quality, also you have to set the max quantisizers to 2. You have to encode that manually in Vdub.

B-frames help compress the movie, but if size doesn't matter, then unselect B-frames.

I recall being told that in DivX 5, B-frames have a best quant of 4, and if looking for a true quant 2 encoding, turn them off.

your right jggimi. B-frames are encoded at best at qunt 4. So if you wanted a true 100% quality encode you would have to deselect them.
