Buffy season2

I have buffy season 2 and would like to backit up.I can easily create the dvdr from the original dvd my problem is the at motion scenes such as people running there are about 5 shadows of that person following them.
My setting from bitrate viewer were
Pic. structure: Frame
Field topfirst: Yes
DCT type: Frame
Quantscale: Nonlinear
Scan type: ZigZag
Frame type: Progressive

upperfield first-checked
half horizontal resolution -unchecked
half vertical resolution-unchecked

linear quantizer scale -unchecked
zigzag scanning order-checked
quick compression-unchecked
dvd complaint-checked
GOP SETTING
M=3 M\N =4
gop header evry 1 frame
seq header every 1 frame
restrict auto I frame insertion -unchecked
close all gops unchecked

I pass vbr
0-6500

Now even if i import one of the original m2v files unencoded into scenarist and create a vts with just one episode (it's 1.6 gig so all 4 wouldn't fit I wanted to see if it had the same prob) the same thing happens and this is the original m2v file.Help......
What am i doing wrong here
