useing full instructions, but keep getting error in addresss for the 1st ifo vts is already occupied in dvdgear pro plz help going mad thanks

I have no idea what DVD Gear is or is not capable of. Please give us more detailed information as to what you're trying to do and what step your on so we can try to help you.

I presume that you are using Gear Pro to burn your DVD, the error you are getting is that the address xxxxx is already used, you will also get a error message if you try using Nero, what you need to do is make an image with image tool you have to use an early version, then burn the image with Nero or DvdDycrper….. :)

...that's what you are MickA :p - you have just solved my last problem...although I could re-encode the movies complete with original menu's, extras etc., the disc itself would not be played by my Pioneer 444 - only the X-Box would play them happily - but now I use ImgTool 0.89, the image it produces makes the whole thing compliant - they now play happily in all set-top DVD players - excellent!
