Is it possible, to mux the MPA-audiofile from DVD2AVI and the DivX4-videofile from Gordian Knot together without transcoding it to mp3 (like it is explained in the guides)?
It didn't work with VirtualDub or Nandub.
Thank you for helping me, and a happy New Year..

it might be possible if you find a program to write a wav- header to the file... then you could sure mux it with nandub...
but i don't really know any program that does that, i'm pretty sure they exist though (:
you might want to ask about this in the audio forum!

Thank you for your for your answer, steVe.
The reason, why i want to mux the mpa-file is, that the movie to the file is captured with a digital-satelite-card, and in cause of bad weather, the file might be corrupt.
BeSliced doesn't find a fault, but a try to transcode the mpa to mp3 with BeSweet failed.
The mpa-file sounds clear, and has the right length, but I can't transcode it. So came the idea to mux it direct into the videofile.
Your idea with the wav-header is great, and tried, to get the header from BeSliced, but it doesn't work.
I will now try to send my question in the audio-forum, as you wrote.
Thank you, that you spend your time for helping me.

You could use Winamp (http://www.winamp.com) to playback the file. It has an option to output to a true wav file. Then you transode from there. You could do something the same using GraphEdit (http://www.doom9.org/Soft21/Audio/graphedit.rar) .
Hope this helps.
