I assume it worked in 0.26.1?
Check to see that the path to virtualdub is correct (though if you can encode a movie, it is).

Thanks for replying.
I can encode movies. The problem seems to be inside gknot because the button that says "NOW" keep gray, so I canīt click on it. And yes it worked on 0.26.1

"Encoder" tab (last on the right) - press "Add Job"
again
"Encoder" tab (last on the right) - set the correct path for vdub and nandub.
after that the "now" button is available.
easy second way to do this (if you installed the full pack):
"Options" tab - press "Delete Registry Keys". (but you loose your current project settings...)
wef.

I have reinstalled gknot but this time with all the options, because the past time I unchecked VirtualDub because I already had it.
This time it works, but if you delete VirtualDub from the Gknot folder then it become unavailable again even if you have the path to the file in another directory.
it seems that gknot 0.27 needs to have the VirtualDub directory inside of the gknot directory in order to allow compressibility tests.
Thanks to the people who did reply.
