I usually work with PAL discs, but have just started to do my first NTSC title.
When trying to import the m2v file into scenarist I get.
C:\VIDEO_TS\term_d2v-vfapi.m2v
Error : Frame rate (1 = 24 000+1001(23.976)) is wrong.

I have been following the guides on this site.
when making the DVD2AVI project I selected FORCED FILM.
The Title im working on has a frame rate of 29.970fps,
and video type= film 96%.

The resulting output has the frame rate of 23.976fps.

ANY CLUES?

No authoring program can deal with 23.976fps video stream.

U must run the video through pulldown.exe to set the appropriate flags correctly and fps it from 23.976 to 29.97.

Pls locate the posts about fps and pulldown.exe, there r a lot in the forum about this, and study them.

Anyway for a quick answer download pulldown.exe from doom9.org and run it in a dos window with no arguments to get a usage text.
