I've major trouble editing a wedding movie in Pinnacles Studio 8. That program totally sucks. After weeks of frustration I'm now thinking about using another program like Premiere. However I would like to keep the menu from Studio 8.

Is it possible to use the menu VOB file from Studio 8 and use the main movie vob file from another program if I author the movie with IfoEdit.

One problem is how to get the menu chapters in the main movie. I can import the text file with the chapters, but Studio 8 uses a different vob size and therefore the chapters won't work.

Can I make my own chapter text file? How can I calculate the correct starting points of the chapters. Are those the number of frames?

Look, when you export the cell times from IfoEdit to chapter.txt it contains 'celltimes'. In order to edit these i need to know how to calculate these celltimes so I can make my own chapters.txt for authoring with IfoEdit.

Do celltimes match with frames?
