Hi,
I have an interesting problem. I'm using VirtualDubMod 1.4.13.1 with VirtualDub 1.4.13 of course. I have this AVI file with ogg audio. But, I wanted to covert the audio to mp3. So, I extracted the ogg audio and covert it to wav using OGGDROP (should I use another prog?). I don't really want to leave the audio in wav because of its size. Then in VDM, I put video on direct copy, audio to wav input, and compression to mp3. The audio is 44.1khz, 128kb/s, 16bits. When I ran it, an error came up: "(ACM) failure to compress". After, I started to mess around with compression settings, I found a setting that worked. All I did was change the hz from 44.1k to 48k. Ok, so what's up with VirtualDub?
Yes, I know there are other progies out there that can do the same thing I'm trying to do.
You might ask why I want the audio in mp3, so I put the avi into DVD2SVCD.
Thanks in advance.

P.S. What's your way to do this kind of conversion?
