Hi everyone.
I've striped a movie with 6 subtitles.
I've leaved only English and Italian, but when I try to change, I discovery that it's impossible.
Analyzing with Ifoedit, it's all ok: I've 2 subtitles, but I can't jump to the second one.
What's wrong?
I've striped WHILE remux the video track, with Ifoedit 0.95.
Now, listen: my remuxed movie was 4/3 instead 16/9.
If I don't touch ANYTHING in the IFO, during remux, is all OK!
I can see all subtitle that I've choiced, but the movie has erroneus H/L ratio.
When I change ONLY the 16/9 flag to 4/3, I see only english subtitles...!!!
WHY!?!
Does a IfoEdit bug?
How I can do?
Thanks

Mhh... It's very VERY STRANGE.
I've striped ONLY my language subtitles, but there are STILL english subtitles!!!
If I can modify the movie ratio, I can see my language subtitles (but with H/L incorrect ratio).
When I change the H/L ratio, I see the english subtiles, but I HAVEN'T striped english subtitles!
Well, If I open the IFO, there is ONLY one stream of subtitles, not TWO.
If I open the IFO with SubRip, the SW tell me that there is ONE subtitles stream, but when I press "VERIFY" it find another subpicture stream named "00 - ???"
I've ripped this stream, and there are the english subtitles!
Well, folks, how I can eliminate this stream, if IfoEdit can't view it?
Sorry for my bad english, but I'm sure that it's enough right.
Thanks

Ok, I've killed the english subtitle stream directly in ripping.
Now, I've the same problem: when I change the ratio of movie from 16:9 to 4:3 (or "unspecified"), I can't see any subtitle.
If I re-change the ratio (same IFO!) in 16:9, I see the the subtitles again...
I've noticed that when the movie ratio is 16:9, in the subpicture row, beside the ID, there is:
Subpicture 1: "My language" (2bit rle) (ID: 0x21)
When I change the movie ratio in 4:3 (ONLY THIS!) I see:
Subpicture 1: "My language" (2bit rle) (ID: 0x20, 0x21)
Well: what's the difference between (0x20, 0x21) and (0x21)?
How I can change movie ratio in 4:3 without change the subpicture ID?
Thanks. I'll become mad!

Ok ok. It's a monologue.
I've discovered that each subtitles stream has a dedicated ratio. If the movie doesn't presented in this ratio, the subtitle doesn't works.
This value is stored in the IFO, at PGCITI, but is only a codified number.
What's the algorithm?
How I can tell to IFO my parameters?
I've tryed to copy/paste another number from another VOB, with 4:3 subtitles.
Works, but not fine.
I must know exactly how to manipulate this value.
Any idea, tutorial, recent (or not) post ?
Thanks again.
