Can't use de-interlacing in GKnot 0.27

When selecting one of the two de-interlacing options in GKnot 0.27, I get no encoded output. In order to actually encode I am forced to select "none" in field operations...

Any ideas why this is? Here is part of the log file I get at the end (if you need more info, let me know please):

Sorry, problem solved... I just re-installed GKnot 0.27. I may have screwed up some dll's when playing around with avisynth (which by the way I still can't use :p).

On another note, I'd like to see a complete Avisynth guide for beginners - one similar to doom9's GKnot guide. Start to finish :D
