Ok, size is not a problem with this one. I am only keeping the widescreen movie, Title Set 5 (VTS_05_xxx).

I want to start with the movie when I put the DVD in, but the more difficult part is editing the menu.

There are 2 menus, censored and uncensored. I want the uncensored to run by default. Also, when you hit play right now the girl removes her shirt and puts on a new one with widescreen and full screen options. You choose, she removes her shirt again and the movie starts. So I need to figure out how to get past the first part w/ the options since the full screen version is gone, so that when you hit play, she removes her shirt and it goes to the movie.

Also, once it goes to the movie there is alot of crap, artisan, ect, I want to get rid of all of this. If any one can come up with a guide (and a walk through on more on reading the commands so I can learn to do it myself in the future) that would be amazing.

Thank you everyone for all of your great help.

I should add that I am keeping everything from the DVD except VTS_04_xxx. It comes to about 4gb, so there is plenty of room.

I too am having a bitch of a time trying to do, what seems like, a very simple task. (Van Wilder/NR)
I'm just trying to eliminate the full screen version, as you are.. I don't even mind the other stuff... I followed the guide to the 'T' for eliminating just the vts_04 vobs (the full screen vobs) and loaded all the IFOs, get vts, save, etc.. when I try to burn in Nero it complains that there's no vts_04_1.vob (which there isn't) and I tell it to ignore, then it says there's a read error and I tell it to ignore.. the resulting dvd-r will play fine in my PC, menus, everything.. but won't play in any of my 3 standalone players.
I've tried keeping the vts_04_0.* files (IFO/BUP/VOB) and I've tried deleting them.. prior to get_vts... I can strip out just the widescreen movie and burn it no problem.. but this movie has such a "novel" menu system.. (NICE RACK).. I really want to keep it!

Someone please help us? :(

use Gear DVD Pro to burn your dvd's.
you won't get that error.

But will the resulting disc play in my standalones?
In other words, does the procedure I followed for stripping just the full screen files sound right?

P.S. Gear DVD Pro is a bit out of my price range anyway.
