HI -
I need to crop/resize a mpeg-2. I can't find anything to do that with besides dvd2avi. Can someone recomend another app that I can use to crop/resize a .mpg file ?
Thanks !

Mmmm sorry if I sound a bit stupid ... but I am somewhat of a newbie. Isn't AVIsynth only for avi files ?? I am trying to resize a MPG file.

If you will read the faq at www.avisynth.org you will know how to import other files like mpeg2.

if u have access to Maestro import it in a movie move start and end to the desired position, right click on it and save in a new mpeg2 file perfectly compatible for DVD authoring.
alternately use Micromedia M2Edit, or Vitec VideoClip MPeg-2 Pro
