No sound problem???

I've stripped and rebuilt a movie and added the original menu, when I view it in PowerDVD 4 it plays fine but when I try it using the IfoEdit DVD player there is sound on the menu but when play is pressed there is no sound on the movie?? Any ideas anyone.

I burned the movie and tried it on my DVD player, same thing, sound on the menu but no sound on the movie.

The sound seems to disappear when I use IfoUpdate which I need to use to get the menu to work.

tell me... when you play the movie in IFOEDIT, do you select any subtitles or audio before you play the movie???
i had a similar problem with spiderman.
when i selected subtitles before starting the movie, it would play without sound.
