I'm trying to copy Back to the Future. After I removed all of the extras and stripped the unneaded audio and subtitles the vob's were still almost 5gb. So I thought I would use tmpg to make it smaller. I am an extreme noob at this so bear with any stupid questions. Well after running for 12 hours it stopped at 3.99 gb. I figured out that it was because fat32 only supports 4gb so I converted to ntfs. (Using Windows XP Pro by the way) Now I was wondering is there any way to continue where I left off. Like I said it has already been running for 12 hours so I'd rather not start over again. Also from the way it was going it was going to end up the same size as the original vob's. Is that right? Or does IFO edit do something else with this to make it smaller. I have been following the the tmpg guide on this site. Thanks for any help.

Seems a long time maybe the bitrate is too high try a little lower.

I am trying to copy it to a dvd-r. Now the problem is that the m2v file is actually bigger than the original vob's. It comes out to just over 5gb. Do I just change the average bitrate to a little lower one and if so how much do I lower it so it will fit to dvd-r without losing too much quality?
