View Full Version : dvd2avi/DVDdcrypter not detecting delay correctly??

Using GKnot 0.27 I suspect that DVD2AVI is not detecting the right delay of the audio track. The name of all the tracks are DELAY 0ms.log but when the final movie is done I have to remux the audio with about 100ms to fix it. Is there a way I can verify the correct delay that the DVD should have and force the remuxing stage in the encoder to override what's in the name of the file. (I know where to enter the value in the codec final stage of audio)

what I need is a way to find the true delay that the audio track should have.
looking in the stream info (generated by DVDDcrypter I think) I see:
0x80 - Audio - AC3 / 2ch / 48kHz / DRC / English / LBA: 9 / PTS: 00:00:00.041 / Delay: 0ms
0x81 - Audio - AC3 / 6ch / 48kHz / DRC / English / LBA: 8 / PTS: 00:00:00.041 / Delay: 0ms

so it thinks it's 0ms... too...

any ideas???

Thanks,

Stormy...
