dvd audio

I have been succesfully backing up my dvds with the cretins guide , however with two movies I have run into problems with the video results , I know its because I have been using Rempeg2, the result was a very square video picture ,the dvd's were Starwars AOTC & the Minority report , both are 20th Century fox .I tried another encoding method with CCE , the resulting video was fantastic , however I dont Know how to get the Audio for it, This might seem a terible Question to ask but I followed one of the guides and it says that it is sort of hanging in the air and it does not even mention the audio , not a big problem if you can lip read :D . can any one help me out , I would like to use the original AC3 audio if possible thanks :confused:

to get the ac3 track you need to use dvd2avi, although on AOTC I had to use vstrip before dvd2avi as the audio was unrecognizable without stripping. DvdDecryptor and smartripper had no sucess. No experience with minority report. Can't help there. Good luck!!
