splitting lord of the rings problems

I open up the main movie ifo file and split it. I then close ifo edit and hit get vts sectors for each of the two new file groups i have created but after when i try to play the new files i made it says getnumberofchapters failed. Wut am i doing wrong?

I had something similar with the same movie. What I did is copied the original ifo to the second folder. It worked after that.
